Opening hours

From 23 November 2021 onwards, the 2G rule will apply at Museum Folkwang, meaning entrance is only possible for persons who have been vaccinated or who have recovered from COVID-19. Please bring the relevant documentation with you when visiting the museum as well as your ID card. Wearing a mask, social distancing and the hygiene regulations under the State of North Rhine Westphalia Corona Protection Decree remain in place.

Exceptions from 2G:
The 3G Rule applies for children and young people under the age of 18 years. Children who are not yet of school age need no documentation. School pupils aged under 16 count as tested. School students age 16 or older must please present a school certificate. Adults who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons must present a medical certificate from a doctor and a negative rapid test that is at most 24 hours old; pregnant women should please present their maternity pass. Testing documentation will only be accepted as per CoronaSchVO NRW (no self-tests!).
