Hair it is! Hair stories online for the exhibition GROW IT, SHOW IT!

Join us for the online meeting with artists, photographers, authors and the curators of the exhibition and publication Grow It, Show It! A Look at Hair from Diane Arbus to TikTok. In seven minutes each, the participants shed light on different perspectives. For example, hair as an object and commodity in the history of photography, the cultural-historical significance of black hair history in the USA, hair as a symbol of resistance and emancipation in photography and media art or the biological composition of hair. Find out more about hair and hairstyles as an expression of personal and collective identity.
